Congratulations, you're engaged! Now what? You probably have a lot of questions about planning your wedding, and we’re here to help make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During an initial consultation, it is our goal to determine the overall vision of your suite. We will spend time discussing logistics specific to your wedding, explore your personal style, and make creative selections. From invitation wording, fonts, stocks, ink colors, and design elements- we will cover all the bases at a comfortable pace. Please allow about 2 hours for initial consultation appointments.
WHAT IS AN INVITATION SUITE?
In addition to the invitation, guests typically include a reply set, often a details card or schedule of weekend events, all nicely assembled into the outer envelope. There is no set package, all invitation suites are custom and determined based on the specific needs of each client.
WHEN TO MAIL INVITATIONS
For weddings and mitzvahs, the rule of thumb is to mail invitations around 8 weeks prior to your event. For destination weddings or in unique circumstances, you may prefer to mail closer to 10 weeks out. Which leads us to...
WHEN TO BEGIN LOOKING AT INVITATIONS
We love to get started as soon as you nail down details with your venue and recommend an initial consultation around 6 months before your event. This creates a generous timeline that allows a comfortable proofing process, plenty of time for production and assembly needs.
Typically our production timelines are around 10-15 business days from the time of final proof approval. You will be notified when selecting your stationery of the estimated production schedule.
With such a vast selection of stationery options comes a wide range of prices. Pricing is dependent on a variety of factors, including: quantity of invitations, print methods, stock thickness, size, embellishments, number of enclosures, etc. We recommend open communication about budget so that we can help you stay on track with the price point that is comfortable for you. The majority of our couples budget about $2000-$4500 for a quantity of 100 suites.
Creating a cohesive look throughout an event is one of our top priorities. We have a streamlined process designed to take a little stress off your plate, just provide us with text and important information and we will take care of design and production.
